Recap

Notre Dame obliterated Syracuse 70-7 in a historic rout that saw the Fighting Irish score in nearly every conceivable way, including two pick-sixes and a punt return touchdown all in the first quarter alone. Jeremiyah Love was unstoppable with three rushing touchdowns, including explosive runs of 45 and 68 yards. The Irish defense pitched a shutout until the final seven seconds when Syracuse finally found the end zone on Joseph Filardi's 6-yard run.
