Recap

Ball State withstood a furious New Hampshire comeback attempt to hold on for a 34-29 victory at Scheumann Stadium. The Cardinals rode the spectacular performance of Qua Ashley, who scored three total touchdowns including a explosive 72-yard run. Despite trailing early after a Wildcats blocked punt return touchdown, Ball State built a 34-21 second-half lead before New Hampshire chipped away with a safety and late field goal to keep things interesting.
