Recap

Alabama held off a spirited Georgia challenge to secure a 24-21 victory at Sanford Stadium in a classic SEC showdown. The Crimson Tide jumped out to an early lead behind quarterback Ty Simpson, who accounted for three touchdowns including two passing strikes and a crucial 2-yard run just before halftime. The Bulldogs fought back with scores from Colbie Young, Chauncey Bowens, and Josh McCray, but couldn't complete the comeback despite outscoring Alabama in the second half.
