Recap

Texas Tech unleashed an offensive masterclass in a 67-7 demolition of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, with quarterback Behren Morton throwing four touchdown passes in the first half alone. The Red Raiders scored on their first four possessions and built a commanding 47-0 halftime lead before backup quarterbacks Will Hammond and Mitch Griffis added three more touchdowns. The Golden Lions avoided the shutout when Christian Peters connected with Ellis Stewart for a 7-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was far too little against Texas Tech's relentless attack.
