Recap

The Memphis Tigers clawed out a hard-fought 27-21 road victory over UNLV at Allegiant Stadium, surviving a back-and-forth battle that went down to the wire. In a defensive slugfest featuring 196 plays, Memphis made just enough plays when it mattered most to silence the Runnin' Rebels faithful in Paradise. UNLV fought valiantly on their home turf, but couldn't find the final answer against a disciplined Tigers squad. Memphis showed why they're a force to be reckoned with in the American Conference, grinding out a crucial win in Mountain West territory. The Runnin' Rebels came up just short despite a spirited effort that kept the crowd on edge until the final whistle.
