Recap
Butler rolled to a dominant 47-20 home victory over Chicago State, building an early 16-0 lead behind quarterback Gabe Passini's three total touchdowns in the first quarter. The Bulldogs controlled the game throughout, with Passini throwing three touchdown passes and the offense exploding for 21 fourth-quarter points, including Desmin Jackson's electrifying 72-yard touchdown run. Chris Edmonds provided the lone bright spots for the Cougars with a 74-yard rushing touchdown and a 77-yard receiving score, but it wasn't enough to slow Butler's offensive attack.
