Recap

Charlotte Falls Short in Thriller at Jerry Richardson Stadium The Citadel pulled off a gutsy road victory, edging Charlotte 43-41 in a back-and-forth shootout at Jerry Richardson Stadium. With 187 plays between these two squads, this one had everything—big momentum swings, relentless scoring, and drama right down to the wire. The Bulldogs found just enough offense when it mattered most to escape with the two-point win. For the 49ers, this one stings. Playing in front of their home crowd, Charlotte matched the Bulldogs blow for blow but couldn't quite seal the deal in crunch time. The Southern Conference visitor showed tremendous grit on the road, and Charlotte will have to regroup quickly after watching this thriller slip away in heartbreaking fashion.
