Recap

Jacksonville State escaped Kennesaw with a nail-biting 27-26 road victory in a Conference USA thriller that came down to the wire. The Gamecocks withstood everything the Owls threw at them in this 202-play marathon at Fifth Third Stadium, holding on for the one-point win in enemy territory. This was as close as it gets in college football. Kennesaw State fought tooth and nail to protect their home turf, but Jacksonville State made just enough plays when it mattered most. The Gamecocks improve their standing with a huge conference road win, while the Owls are left agonizing over what might have been in a game decided by the slimmest of margins.
