South Carolina State vs Charleston Southern

Charleston Southern lit up the scoreboard with explosive plays en route to a 49-39 victory over South Carolina State at Buccaneer Field. The Buccaneers seized control early with Hakeem Watters' electrifying 60-yard punt return touchdown and Quay Kindell's 98-yard kickoff return for a score, building a 35-16 halftime advantage. Despite the Bulldogs battling back in the third quarter to cut it to 42-31, Jared Echols and the Charleston Southern offense answered every challenge, with Echols throwing three touchdown passes including two to Mekhi Campfield.
