Recap

The Pittsburgh Panthers escaped Lane Stadium with a thrilling 35-33 victory over Virginia Tech in an ACC battle that came down to the wire. In a back-and-forth affair that featured 190 plays of intense action, neither team could pull away, with the lead changing hands multiple times throughout the contest. The Hokies fought valiantly in front of their home crowd in Blacksburg, but the Panthers made just enough plays when it mattered most. Pittsburgh's ability to hold off a resilient Virginia Tech squad in the final moments proved the difference in a game that showcased everything great about conference football. This two-point road victory keeps the Panthers' momentum rolling while the Hokies are left wondering what might have been in a game that could've gone either way.
