Northwestern vs Indiana

Indiana gritted out a hard-fought 29-23 victory over Northwestern at Memorial Stadium, keeping the Wildcats at bay in a tense Big Ten battle. The Hoosiers built their advantage through 183 plays of back-and-forth action, with both offenses finding success but neither able to pull away decisively. Northwestern battled until the final whistle, keeping this one within a single possession throughout much of the contest. But Indiana's defense made the crucial stops when it mattered most, protecting their six-point lead down the stretch. The Hoosiers improve with a gutsy conference win on their home turf, while the Wildcats head back to Evanston with a tough road loss.
