Recap

The Gamecocks absolutely dominated at Williams-Brice Stadium, steamrolling Kent State 57-0 in a statement performance. South Carolina's defense was suffocating all game long, pitching a shutout against the Golden Flashes and never letting them find any rhythm on offense. This wasn't just a win — it was a total takeover. The Gamecocks controlled both sides of the ball, piling up points while their defense made life miserable for Kent State. When you shut out your opponent and drop 57 points, you're sending a message. South Carolina looked locked in from start to finish, turning Williams-Brice into a fortress the Golden Flashes had no answer for.
