Recap
Tarleton State escaped Lake Charles with a thrilling 27-24 victory over McNeese as Alejandro De La Poza drilled a 24-yard field goal as time expired to cap a marathon 16-play, 80-yard drive. The Texans' Curtis Deville caught two touchdown passes from Devin Lippold—including a 47-yarder that tied the game at 21-21 in the third quarter—while Tylan Hines powered the Cowboys' offense with two rushing touchdowns. The back-and-forth affair featured five lead changes before De La Poza's game-winner gave the Texans their first road win of the season.
