Recap

Liberty made the trip to Newark and left no doubt, dismantling Delaware 30-14 at Delaware Stadium. The Flames controlled this one from start to finish, building a commanding lead and never letting the Fightin' Blue Hens back into it. Delaware's offense struggled to find any rhythm against a stifling Liberty defense that forced tough decisions all game long. The Flames' balanced attack kept the home crowd quiet throughout, methodically extending their advantage while Delaware searched for answers that never came. Liberty moves forward with momentum after this decisive Conference USA road victory, while the Fightin' Blue Hens head back to the drawing board after a tough afternoon at home.
