Recap

BYU dominated in Provo, taking down Arizona 28-17 at LaVell Edwards Stadium in a Big 12 showdown. The Cougars controlled the action throughout 164 plays, building enough cushion to keep the Wildcats at bay despite a competitive effort from the visitors. The 11-point victory keeps BYU rolling at home, where they proved too much for Arizona to handle. The Wildcats showed fight but couldn't generate enough offense to seriously threaten the Cougars' lead down the stretch. BYU's defense stepped up when it mattered most, securing a solid conference win in front of their home crowd.
