Gardner-Webb vs Marshall

Marshall escaped with a heart-stopping 36-35 victory over Gardner-Webb at Joan C. Edwards Stadium in what turned into an absolute thriller. The Thundering Herd needed every single point to hold off the Runnin' Bulldogs in a game that went down to the wire, with 206 plays of back-and-forth action keeping fans on the edge of their seats. This was supposed to be a comfortable home win, but Gardner-Webb had other plans, pushing the Sun Belt squad to the absolute limit. The one-point margin tells the whole story — neither team gave an inch in a wild shootout that showcased incredible offensive firepower on both sides. Marshall survives the scare and moves forward, but they'll remember how close they came to an upset loss.
