Recap

Notre Dame made a statement in Chapel Hill, taking down North Carolina 37-26 at Kenan Stadium. The Fighting Irish controlled this ACC-Independent clash through 167 plays of hard-nosed football, building enough separation to fend off the Tar Heels' comeback attempts. North Carolina fought to keep pace on their home turf, but Notre Dame's balanced attack proved too much to overcome. The Fighting Irish's ability to move the chains and put points on the board when it mattered most sealed the road victory. Notre Dame heads home with a signature win, while the Tar Heels are left searching for answers after falling short in front of their home crowd.
