Recap

The Ohio Bobcats escaped Dix Stadium with a hard-fought 13-10 victory over Kent State in a defensive slugfest that came down to the wire. In a Mid-American Conference battle where every yard was contested, the Bobcats' defense stood tall when it mattered most, limiting the Golden Flashes' offense throughout the evening. Kent State battled fiercely on their home turf, but couldn't quite generate enough offensive firepower to overcome Ohio's stingy defense. The Golden Flashes fell just short despite the electric atmosphere, as the Bobcats made the crucial plays in crunch time to secure the three-point road victory and maintain bragging rights in this MAC rivalry.
