The UNLV Runnin' Rebels rolled into InfoCision Stadium and absolutely dominated, crushing the Akron Zips 38-10 in a statement road victory. The Rebels controlled this one from start to finish, shutting down the Zips' offense and putting up points in bunches. Akron struggled to find any rhythm all night, managing just 10 points against a suffocating UNLV defense. This was a complete performance from the Runnin' Rebels, who made the trip to Ohio worthwhile with a commanding 28-point victory. The Zips couldn't generate nearly enough offense to keep pace, and UNLV took full advantage. The Rebels head home with a dominant road win in the books, while Akron has plenty to clean up after getting outplayed in all phases.
