Recap
Weber State exploded out of the gate with Spencer Ferguson's electrifying 75-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage, setting the tone in a 38-27 Big Sky victory over Idaho. The Wildcats built a 14-0 first-quarter lead before the Vandals battled back behind Joshua Wood's four touchdown passes, including two to Tony Harste. But Seth Rigtrup's two rushing scores and a crucial fourth-quarter answer drive sealed the win for Weber State, holding off Idaho's late rally at home in Ogden.
