Navy vs UAB

The UAB Blazers held off a relentless Navy challenge at Protective Stadium, escaping with a hard-fought 24-20 victory in an American Conference showdown. In a defensive slugfest that saw 168 plays run between the two teams, UAB made just enough plays down the stretch to protect their home turf in Birmingham. Navy's trademark triple-option attack kept the Blazers on their heels all night, but UAB's defense bent without breaking when it mattered most. The Midshipmen fought until the final whistle, but couldn't overcome the four-point deficit. For the Blazers, it's a gritty conference win that showcases their resilience, while Navy falls just short despite a valiant effort on the road.
