Recap
Villanova escaped Lewisburg with a thrilling 17-16 victory over Bucknell in a Patriot League defensive battle. The Wildcats jumped out to a 14-0 halftime lead on two Pat McQuaide touchdown passes to Braden Reed, but the Bison stormed back in the third quarter as Christopher Dietrich connected twice with Sam Milligan to pull within one. After Juan Garanton's 40-yard field goal gave Bucknell their first lead early in the fourth, Dominic LeBlanc's 22-yard field goal with 8:20 remaining proved to be the game-winner for the Wildcats.
