Recap
Fordham held off Richmond 20-14 in a hard-fought Patriot League battle at Jack Coffey Field. The Rams seized control late when quarterback Gunnar Smith punched in a 5-yard touchdown run with 2:23 remaining to break a 14-14 tie. Jordan Allen's fumble return touchdown in the third quarter gave the Spiders their only lead, but Jamell James answered immediately with a 2-yard scoring run to knot things up before Smith's game-winning score.
