Recap
Arkansas-Pine Bluff held off a furious Central State comeback to win 41-35 at Simmons Bank Field. The Golden Lions dominated early, building a commanding 34-7 lead behind Jack Schierholz's explosive 55-yard touchdown run and his 60-yard scoring strike to D'Avery Robinson. Jackson Wasik led the Marauders' rally with four touchdown passes to Nicholas Smith, including connections of 66 and 9 yards in the fourth quarter, but Arkansas-Pine Bluff's early cushion proved just enough to survive the late surge.
