Recap
Alcorn State edged Arkansas-Pine Bluff 53-51 in a thrilling six-overtime SWAC shootout at a neutral site in Memphis. The Braves' Jaylon Tolbert threw five touchdown passes, including a crucial 3-yarder to Armon Wright in the fifth overtime to force another frame. Ernest Temple punched in the game-winning 2-yard touchdown run in the sixth overtime, and a successful two-point conversion gave the Braves just enough cushion after the Golden Lions answered but failed their conversion attempt.
