Recap

The Massachusetts Minutemen stormed into SHI Stadium and delivered a stunning 37-21 statement win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. In a game that saw 215 plays of back-and-forth action, the Minutemen controlled the tempo and seized every opportunity to hand the Big Ten squad a tough home defeat. Massachusetts built their lead with explosive plays and timely stops, never letting Rutgers find consistent rhythm. The Scarlet Knights fought hard in front of their home crowd, but the Mid-American visitors proved too much to handle. This was a signature road victory for the Minutemen, showing they can compete with power conference opponents and leave Piscataway with their heads held high.
