Recap
Howard held off a fierce Alabama A&M comeback to win 31-24 at a neutral site in Atlanta. The Bison built a 20-7 halftime lead behind quarterback Ja'Shawn Scroggins and three Matt Conord field goals, but the Bulldogs stormed back as Cornelious Brown IV led an 80-yard scoring drive and David Faulk kicked a go-ahead field goal in the fourth quarter. Scroggins delivered the knockout blow with a 51-yard touchdown strike to Se'Quan Osborne with 2:41 remaining, then connected with Nathanial Clark on the two-point conversion to seal the victory.
