Middle Tennessee vs Marshall

Marshall survived a heart-stopping battle at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, edging Middle Tennessee 28-26 in a defensive slugfest that came down to the wire. The Thundering Herd held off a determined Blue Raiders squad through 185 plays of intense, back-and-forth action, with neither team able to pull away until Marshall's final stand secured the narrow victory. This Conference USA showdown lived up to the hype, as Middle Tennessee fought tooth and nail to steal a road win in Huntington. The Blue Raiders were just a two-point conversion away from forcing overtime, but the Thundering Herd's defense rose to the occasion when it mattered most.
