Recap

The San Jose State Spartans flew into Rynearson Stadium and left with a hard-fought 27-21 road victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles. In a competitive Mid-American versus Mountain West clash, the Spartans controlled just enough of the action across 204 plays to secure the win in Ypsilanti. Eastern Michigan battled throughout, keeping things tight until the final whistle, but San Jose State's execution proved just a bit sharper when it mattered most. The Eagles showed plenty of fight on their home turf, but the Spartans earned the road triumph and head back west with a statement victory.
