Recap
Portland State dominated Utah Tech 30-14 in a Big Sky Conference matchup at Hillsboro Stadium. The Vikings seized control early with a 14-play, 92-yard opening drive capped by Tyrese Smith's 39-yard touchdown pass to Zui Shelton, then exploded for 23 second-quarter points including Niall Raby's 33-yard rushing score and Smith's second TD pass. Despite the Trailblazers answering with a 12-play scoring drive before halftime and a 16-play touchdown march in the fourth quarter, Portland State's offensive firepower proved too much to overcome.
