Recap
Southern Utah edged Weber State 47-42 in a wild Beehive Bowl shootout that featured 12 lead changes and relentless back-and-forth action. Floyd Chalk powered the Wildcats with three rushing touchdowns, including the game-winning 22-yarder with 9:13 remaining, while Will Burns added two scores on the ground and two through the air. The Thunderbirds' Zach Smith blocked punt return for a touchdown sparked the scoring frenzy, but Weber State's explosive offense proved too much down the stretch in this Big Sky thriller.
