Recap
North Alabama cruised to a 38-20 victory over Alcorn State behind a dominant performance from quarterback Destin Wade, who threw three touchdown passes and added a 13-yard rushing score. The Lions jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter with back-to-back Wade touchdown strikes, and Xavier Johnson's explosive 75-yard touchdown run in the second quarter helped North Alabama maintain control throughout. Despite the Braves cutting the deficit to 21-17 early in the third quarter, the Lions pulled away with a 72-yard Wade-to-TJ Holmes touchdown bomb to start the fourth quarter and sealed the win with a methodical 12-play scoring drive.
