Texas vs Oklahoma

The Red River Rivalry delivered another instant classic at the Cotton Bowl, with Oklahoma edging Texas 27-24 in this neutral-site showdown between SEC foes. The Sooners and Longhorns battled through 192 plays of intense, hard-nosed football that lived up to the storied tradition of this Dallas thriller. In a game that could've gone either way, Oklahoma made the crucial plays when it mattered most to secure the three-point victory. The narrow margin kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle, proving once again why this rivalry is one of college football's greatest spectacles. Both teams showed why they belong in the SEC conversation, but the Sooners walked away with bragging rights in 2024.
