Recap
Montana State held off a furious Central Connecticut State rally to escape with a 35-30 victory at Bobcat Stadium. The Bobcats seized control with a dominant third quarter that featured a 42-yard Brett Griffis touchdown pass to Elijah Daniels and a 42-yard fumble return by Navon Mitchell, building a 21-7 lead. Adam Jones powered the comeback with two fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns, including a go-ahead 32-yarder, but the Blue Devils' failed two-point conversion with 54 seconds left sealed their fate.
