Recap
The Wisconsin Badgers dominated at Camp Randall Stadium, rolling past the Western Illinois Leathernecks 36-9 in convincing fashion. Wisconsin controlled the action from start to finish, never allowing the visitors to establish any rhythm on either side of the ball. The Badgers' defense was suffocating, holding Western Illinois to just nine points while the offense methodically built their lead. Camp Randall Stadium got to see their team fire on all cylinders, with Wisconsin flexing their Big Ten muscle against the overmatched Leathernecks. This was the kind of comfortable home victory that sets the tone for the season ahead, giving the Badgers plenty of momentum moving forward.
