Recap
Cal Poly held off a late Central Washington rally to secure a 24-17 victory at Mustang Memorial Field. After the Wildcats opened the scoring with a 16-play, 85-yard drive capped by Justin Brennan's 1-yard touchdown run, the Mustangs seized control with 17 unanswered points in the second quarter, including two Anthony Grigsby Jr. touchdown passes to Ray Hall (55 and 35 yards). Despite Central Washington cutting the deficit to seven points late in the fourth quarter, the Mustangs' defense stood firm to preserve the win.
