Recap
South Carolina State stunned Furman 20-17 on the road, overcoming a 14-0 first-quarter deficit to claim the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory. The Bulldogs controlled the action with four Nathan Chapman field goals, including a clutch 28-yarder by Jett Jackson with 3:03 remaining that proved to be the game-winner. Furman's Connor Ackerley connected with Luke Shields on a 67-yard touchdown pass with under three minutes left, but the comeback fell just short after a successful two-point conversion.
