Recap
Marist picked up a 28-14 Pioneer League road victory over Stetson at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium. After the Red Foxes struck first on a Thomas von Grote 10-yard TD pass to Shawne Jones, the Hatters responded with back-to-back scores—a Sonny Mannino 30-yard strike to Lance Martinez and Isaiah Simmons' electrifying 44-yard rushing touchdown—to take a 14-7 halftime lead. Marist dominated the second half, with von Grote finding Jones again from 11 yards out to tie it, before Mannino connected with Reece Beauchamp for 29 yards and Simmons punched in a 1-yarder to seal the win.
