Recap
Towson escaped Barker-Lane Stadium with a thrilling 24-20 victory over Campbell in a back-and-forth Coastal Athletic Association battle. De'Von Thomas powered the Tigers' ground attack with two 1-yard rushing touchdowns, including the game-winner with 4:54 left in the third quarter. Campbell quarterback Jacob Davis answered with both a 2-yard touchdown pass to CJ Schaeffer and a 1-yard rushing score, but the Fighting Camels couldn't overcome Towson's balanced attack that featured Kamden Sixkiller's 22-yard touchdown strike to Jyron Waiters.
