Houston vs Georgia Southern

Houston rolled into Statesboro and left no doubt, dominating Georgia Southern 42-28 at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The Cougars built their victory through a relentless 177-play battle, showing why Big 12 football travels well as they controlled the tempo and pulled away from the Sun Belt's Eagles. Georgia Southern fought to keep pace at home, but Houston's firepower proved too much to handle. The Cougars' offense clicked when it mattered most, putting up 42 points and never letting the Eagles find the defensive answers they needed. Houston heads back to Texas with a convincing road win, while Georgia Southern will look to regroup after coming up short in front of their home crowd.
