Recap

Nebraska absolutely dismantled Troy in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament at the Paycom Center, cruising to a dominant 76-47 victory. The Cornhuskers were relentless from the opening tip, going on an 11-2 run early to grab control at 32-19. Nebraska's defense was suffocating—Troy endured a devastating 38 consecutive plays without scoring in the second half, completely derailing any chance of a comeback. The Cornhuskers piled on the pressure as the game wore on, hitting another 11-2 run to push their lead to double digits at 52-32, then sealing it with a final 10-2 burst that ballooned their advantage to a staggering 30 points. Troy simply had no answers for Nebraska's intensity, and the No. 4 seed's defense put on a clinic, shutting down the Trojans' offensive rhythm throughout the tournament matchup.
