Recap

Purdue was absolutely relentless in the First Round matchup, demolishing Queens University 104-71 at Enterprise Center. The Boilermakers took control early with a devastating 10-0 run that set the tone, then poured it on in the second half with a brutal 17-2 surge that pushed the lead to 27 points. Queens simply had no answer, suffering through a brutal 31-play scoring drought in the first period that buried them before halftime. The Royals never recovered. Purdue's dominance was on full display as they built their lead to a staggering 38 points, with the West Region No. 2 seed cruising through the tournament's opening round. Even late-game free throws from Kam Clark couldn't make a dent in the margin. Liam Murphy's three-pointer with 46 seconds left capped off another dominant Purdue performance, sending the Boilermakers dancing into the next round.
