Recap
Arizona's dominance showed early as the Wildcats built a commanding 18-point lead, with a devastating 9-2 run midway through the second half pushing their advantage to 51-35. Utah State mounted a scrappy comeback, cutting it to just five points with their own 10-2 run, but the Aggies couldn't close the gap when it mattered most. Down the stretch, Arizona's experience shined through. Ivan Kharchenkov's clutch free throws at 0:59 and Motiejus Krivas's late tip-in sealed the deal for the No. 1 seed. Utah State's Karson Templin answered with a dunk in the final seconds, but it was too little, too late. The Wildcats advance with a 78-66 victory in the Second Round of the West Region, covering the spread and moving on in the NCAA Tournament.
