Recap

Arkansas dominated Hawaii from the opening tip, establishing control with a devastating 15-2 run early in the first half. The Razorbacks' offense was relentless, extending their advantage to as much as 23 points behind another 10-2 scoring surge. Hawaii battled back with a 9-2 run, but it proved too little too late. The Rainbow Warriors' offense stalled repeatedly, suffering through a brutal 40-play scoring drought in the second half that sealed their fate. Down the stretch, Arkansas put the game away with timely buckets. Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas added crucial layups in the final minute to cap the 97-78 victory and send the No. 4 seed advancing in the West Region. The Razorbacks' suffocating defense and efficient scoring made this a statement win in the First Round.
