Recap

Arkansas survived a thriller in the West Region's Second Round, holding off High Point 94-88 at the Moda Center. This was a back-and-forth battle with 12 lead changes and six ties, but the Razorbacks' resilience proved decisive down the stretch. After a brutal 27-play scoring drought early, High Point showed fight with a 12-2 run that briefly put them ahead. Arkansas answered with a crucial 10-2 surge to regain control, though the Panthers never went away. The final minute was pure chaos. High Point's Cam'Ron Fletcher cut it to five with 45 seconds left, then Braden Hausen drilled a 3-pointer from 28 feet with just 10 seconds remaining to make it 92-88. But Arkansas closed it out—Darius Acuff Jr. nailed both free throws with eight seconds left to seal the 94-88 victory. The No. 4 seed's largest lead was just eight points, making this one of the tournament's most competitive games yet.
