Recap

TCU pulled off a stunning upset in the First Round, edging No. 8 seed Ohio State 66-64 at a neutral site in a back-and-forth thriller. The Horned Frogs built a commanding 15-point lead early, but the Buckeyes clawed back with a devastating 15-1 run to grab a 55-50 advantage. Four lead changes and four ties kept the arena on edge as both teams traded blows down the stretch. The final minute was pure March madness. Micah Robinson nailed a 3-pointer to put TCU ahead 61-64 with 56 seconds left, but Bruce Thornton answered with his own deep three to tie it at 64-64. In the game's final moments, Xavier Edmonds converted a layup with just four seconds remaining to seal TCU's 66-64 victory. A stunning upset that sent the Horned Frogs dancing.
