Recap

South Carolina absolutely dominated Oklahoma in the Sacramento Regional Semifinal, cruising to a 94-68 victory as the No. 1 seed. The Gamecocks came out firing with a devastating 12-2 run to open the game, then extended their control with another 10-2 surge to push their lead to 33-15. By the second half, South Carolina's defense was suffocating—a 10-0 run in the third quarter stretched the advantage to 29 points, the largest lead of the game, and the Sooners simply had no answer. Oklahoma never threatened a comeback. South Carolina's defense forced scoring droughts at crucial moments, completely controlling the flow and pace. The Gamecocks covered the spread comfortably, proving why they earned the top seed. This was a statement performance heading deeper into the tournament.
