Recap

Duke pulled off a stunning upset in the Sacramento Regional Semifinals, holding off LSU's desperate final push with a clutch three-pointer in the game's final seconds. The Blue Devils built an 11-point lead and survived a devastating 12-1 LSU run that tied the game at 84-84 with under a minute remaining. Mikaylah Williams gave the Lady Tigers the lead with two free throws at 0:09, but Ashlon Jackson answered immediately with a dagger from 24 feet out, assisted by Jordan Wood, to seal Duke's 87-85 victory on the neutral court. The back-and-forth battle featured six lead changes and seven ties, with neither team able to pull away for long. LSU mounted a furious 9-2 run in the third quarter to take the lead, while Duke responded with an 11-2 surge in the fourth to regain control. But the Lady Tigers' resilience kept them fighting until the final buzzer in a tournament thriller that will haunt LSU for years to come.
