Versatile Walk-On Contributor with Academic Excellence
Collins Mauldin is an original walk-on who exemplifies the student-athlete ideal at Clemson. Playing defensive end and tight end, he logged one tackle across seven games during his college career. While his on-field production was limited, Mauldin distinguished himself as a three-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member, graduating in May 2015 with a degree in wildlife & fisheries biology. His value lies in his versatility, work ethic as a walk-on, and commitment to balancing elite academics with football—ideal for programs prioritizing character and institutional fit over immediate statistical impact.
