Jordan Helton brings veteran DB production and playoff-tested toughness to Jackson State
In the 2024 season at Tennessee State, Jordan Helton appeared in 13 games and posted 23 tackles, 2 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery, with a season-high 8 tackles in the FCS playoffs against Montana; Jackson State listed him on its 2025 roster as a graduate student defensive back. He fits as a steady, physical safety/DB with proven special-teams value, ball disruption, and experience in big moments, which should appeal to a team looking for a reliable, grown-man secondary piece rather than a pure highlight machine.
